Tundra

The tundra is a flat land of ice that is mostly in the north. The tundra has hardly any trees. there is a few animals that live in the tundra like foxes, bears, and moose. The tundra is a flat piece of land that is below 0, mostly, and hardly has any trees. There is soil under the ice.

Grassland

The grassland is a prairie that has prairie dogs and many other animals. it mostly has grass, you can tell because of the name. There are a lot of smaller animals there like squirrels and moles. Prairie dogs are found a lot in holes and they live in pairs but sometimes groups. over there it sometimes droughts.

Savannas

The savannas are like a wild area. They have zebras some big cat types and many others. Giraffes might live there too because of the tall trees. My cousins name is savannah but hers has a h at the end. I've seen many pictures of the savannas and they look like a nice place to live in.


It is sort of like a desert too.
there is sand,dirt, and a lot of snakes can live there.

Marine ecosystem

They have different climates. Some places have arctic animals and others and others have different and changing amimals. There is the large marine eco system, watershed bounds, and political boundaries. Some animals in places change from time to time because of weather. Places have big animals, small animals, and sometimes both.

desert

The desert can be one of the worlds hottest areas. It is very dry and has a lot of cactus. it has a lot of cactus because cactus dont need much water to live. A lot of reptiles live there because their scales are good for that weather. In the deseert, it hardly rains.

Animals

What is your favorite wild and non wild animal? Where do they live? Why do you like them?

My favorite non-wild animal is a dog. They are playful and always follow you and mostly listen to you. I have 2 Dogs and they both are very good dogs.

My favorite wild animal is a cheetah. it is fast and is vicious. I like to see them chase zebra because it sucks for the zebra. The cheetah is the fastest land animal in the world.

Rainforest

The rain forest has many animals. Those animals live in trees, plants and the also eat them sometimes. It rains there alot and the temperature is very temperate. A lot of plants live there in 3 layers. The top layer,canopy, is where vines grow and the top of trees are. In the second layer,understory, plants grow but they are younger then the other ones. But most animals live there. In the forest floor, fungus is there to get nutrients from fallen or dead plants.

Land biomes

What is your favorite biomes? Mine is the Ice biome. It has Snow rabbits, snow wolves, polar bears, penguins, seals, and other things that live in the cold. Rabbits dont eat humans, wolves... are dangerous, polar bears are sometimes slow and penguins and seals are in the water so its not so scary if your protected.

Camping

On my weekend i went camping in frazier park with people that i know. There was a lot of snow there and we went sledding and snowboarding. The cabin that we slept in had a lot of rooms and our room was divided in half by those sliding door things. the beds there were so hard, that we went sledding with the mattresses. I tried snowboarding on a sled.. not so good. From that im sore all over my body. We made a fort with snow and we had a snowball war. We won but they kicked down our fort after we won. I also saw 3 Wolves/ coyote and bear prints at the top of a mountain it was cool


Camping is really fun.

Climate and weather

Climate and weather are different in many ways. Climate is the weather for a long period of time. some places have a cold climate because it is usually cold.

Climate climate can stay for a whole season
weather that stays for a while like 2 weeks of rain
climate can effect a state or country for a while



What is your favorite climate? mine is rain or snow. they give me a nice feeling and its cold. I think i like the cold because i was born in November and it was cold when i was born.
